A lot of driving schools will get you through the requirements. We're here to actually prepare you for the road.
The owner's hand is in every lesson.
Mark runs the school himself — he sets how each program is taught, knows where every student is, and stays accountable for the instruction you get. Your lessons build on each other because someone is actually watching them, not because a scheduling system says so.
Instruction that adapts to you.
Every student arrives with a different experience level, different anxieties, and different goals. We don't use a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Lessons are structured around where you are today and where you need to be.
Scheduling that works around your week.
We work around your calendar — not the other way around. Lessons run Mon–Fri 11:00am–7:00pm · Sat 9:00am–1:00pm, with flexible scheduling on request. School schedules, work schedules, weekend availability: we'll find times that work.
Enrolled students test in the car they trained in.
Teen Behind-the-Wheel and Adult Waiver students may use our training vehicle for the DMV road-skills test at no extra charge — one less thing for your family to arrange. We don't provide vehicles for road tests outside those programs.
Owner-operated and insured.
NextMile is Mark's own school, not a franchise desk. He carries commercial coverage on the training vehicle and stands behind every lesson himself, which is the whole reason the instruction stays consistent.
We go the extra mile — literally.
Beyond the state-required courses, we offer Car Systems 101 and Car Maintenance 101: practical courses on how your vehicle actually works and how to keep it running. Not required by anyone. Just the kind of thing a good instructor offers.
